Volleyball camps in Turkey

Turkey is the busiest volleyball camp destination on this site, and for good reason: a short flight from most of Europe, warm sea from spring to autumn, resort infrastructure that needs nothing added to it, and prices well below comparable weeks in Western Europe.

Most camps run on the Mediterranean coast. In Antalya and Kemer they are usually based at a hotel, with sand courts a minute from your room, two sessions a day, all-inclusive meals and evening games. Istanbul offers the indoor, city version — a good fit if you play the classic six-a-side game and want to see the city between sessions.

Before you book

• Season. Beach camps run from April to October; in July and August sessions shift to early morning and evening to avoid the heat.
• Coaching. Turkey has one of the strongest club systems in Europe, and camps often pair local coaches with Russian-speaking staff.
• Accommodation. Usually an all-inclusive hotel, sometimes apartments near the courts — each listing spells out what the price covers.
• Entry rules. Every listing states whether a visa is required; confirm the current rules for your passport before booking.
