Volleyball camps in Italy

Italy runs the strongest club volleyball in Europe, and it shows at camp level: the coaching method, the discipline on court and the attention to technique are usually a step above what an amateur can find at home.

Summer camps are held along the Adriatic coast, where beach volleyball is a mass sport with dozens of courts per resort, and in the lakes and foothills that Italian teams have long used for pre-season work. Expect a stricter format than at a resort camp: more technical and tactical work, less volleyball-as-sunbathing. Sessions run in Italian and English, with international groups.

Before you book

  • Season. Beach camps from June to September; indoor training weeks also appear in spring and autumn.
  • Workload. Italian programmes tend to be dense — check how many sessions a day the listing promises.
  • Accommodation. Usually a hotel or residence near the courts, with meals often priced separately.
  • Entry rules. Italy is in the Schengen area; apply early, as summer appointment slots fill up.

Filter the list above by dates and level, or compare with Spain for a more relaxed take on the same coastline.
